Cisco Cisco OptoStar II Optical Switch 安装指南
Introduction
Description
The OptoStar II RF switch module uses a standard 19-in OptoStar II chassis. The
flexibility of the platform is greatly improved by the fact that a single chassis can
hold both the RF switch module and other OptoStar II modules. 14 application
modules can be placed in one standard 3 RU OptoStar II chassis. In many modern
cable systems, optical transmitters, amplifiers and optical receivers can be set to
backup mode, with a main module and a backup module. In the OptoStar II
platform, the RF switch module can be used to control, switch, and backup RF
signal, in order to improve network reliability.
