Adding a Wi-Fi Network Manually
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps ➔
Settings.
2. Under Wireless and network, on the Wi-Fi tab, touch the
OFF / ON icon to turn Wi-Fi on.

3. Touch Add Wi-Fi network, then enter network
information:
• Network SSID: Enter the name of the Wi-Fi Wireless Access
Point (WAP).
• Security: Select the type of security used by the WAP.
Note: Depending on the Security protocol used by the WAP,
additional network information may be required, such as
a Password.

• Password: If the WAP is secured, enter the password or hex
key.
4. Touch Save to save the settings.
Wi-Fi Direct
Using Wi-Fi Direct you can establish direct, device-to-device
Wi-Fi connections, allowing you to share files at Wi-Fi speeds
and without using a Wi-Fi network hotspot.

1. From any screen, touch the Time in the Status Bar.
The Status Details displays.
2. Touch
Wi-Fi to turn Wi-Fi On.
3. Touch
Settings ➔ Wi-Fi ➔
Wi-Fi Direct. The
Wi-Fi Direct settings menu appears in the right hand
column.
4. In the Available devices list, touch a device to establish
a connection and follow the prompts to complete the
connection.
5. Touch
Multi-connect to create a connection to
devices that support multi-connect. Touch Scan to
search for available mult-connect devices, then touch
the devices you want to connect to and follow the
prompts to complete the connection.
