•  Create a password: Set an account password to unlock the device. When a password is 

created, this option changes to Change your password.

•  Create a picture password: Set a picture password to unlock the device.
•  Create a PIN: Set a PIN to unlock the device.
•  Require a password after the display has been off for: Set the length of time the device 

waits before it goes into lock mode when the screen turns off.

Add other Microsoft accounts to allow others to use the device.

Change the settings for notifications from applications.

•  Show app notifications: Set to show notifications from applications.
•  Show app notifications on the lock screen: Set to show notifications from applications 

on the lock screen.

•  Play app notification sounds: Set the device to play notification sounds.

Set individual applications to use notifications.
