1 Turn the external 

contrast control fully 

clockwise.

2 Turn the brightness 

control fully counter-

clockwise so that white 

lines are visible. Turn 

the brightness control 

clockwise until the white 

lines just disappear.

3 Turn the external con-

trast control 1/8 of a 

turn counterclockwise.
