CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or DVD-RAM Drive - 71

2 From inside the chassis, 

push the drive carrier 

forward about one inch.

3 Disconnect the following 

cables from the back of 

the CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, 

or DVD-RAM drive:

• power cable (P7)

• IDE data cable

• audio cable

4 Disconnect the following 

cables from the back of 

the Zip drive (if 

present):

• power cable (P6)

• IDE data cable
