1.

Turn off the TV and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes.

2.

Unplug the power cord.

3.

Open the front access door by pressing in above the HP logo, then releasing.

Loosen the two screws

 on the lamp cover and remove the cover

Loosen the three screws

 on the lamp module; then pull out the module using its handle
