(3) The Disc Tray opens automatically when the "COMPLETE" is indicated and
the updating finishes. Take out the Disc from the Disc Tray.
(4) Turn off the Power of the unit once.
2) Updating the Back-end ROM:
(1) Connect the Video Output terminal (VIDEO OUT or S-VIDEO OUT) of the
unit to a TV.
(2) Turn on the Power of the unit. Press "OPEN/CLOSE" button and open the
Disc Tray.
(3) Set the CD-R (Ver.6334-H) for rewriting the Back-end to the Disc Tray and
press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button.
• The Disc Tray closes; the FL Display indicates "LOADING" and updating of the
software is performed automatically.
• During the rewriting operation, the indications of "ERASE" and "WRITE" appear
repeatedly for approximately one minute, and "DONE" is finally indicated.
(4) After indicating "COMPLETE" on the FL Display, the Disc Tray opens upon
completion of the rewriting operation. Take out the Disc from the Disc Tray.
(5) Turn off the Power of the unit once.
3) Confirmation of the Versions:
(1) Turn off the Power of the unit once. While holding the "PLAY" and
"OPEN/CLOSE" buttons down simultaneously, turn on the Power of the unit.
(2) When " >||" mark appeared on the FL Display, press "PUSH/ENTER" button
on the unit. The following Versions appear every time the button is pressed.

Caution
:
• Previously, we have issued the OST-814 and 885 to update the subject models
so that they are capable of reproducing sound signals when it was connected to
other company's models that are conformable with the IEEE1394.
• The program files that are issued this time can be used for both models those
have been updated or have not been updated. (Please refer to the OST-814 and
OST-885.)
• Therefore, when you update the subject models so that they are compatible
with other companies models that are conformable with the IEEE1394, please
use the CD-R (Ver.6334-H/MAKE DAY325) for updating the Back-end ROM that
is issued this time.
• The CD-R for rewriting differs from the OST-885 but the updating procedures
and contents are the same as the procedures described in the OST-885.
