The items in this group are only applicable when playing back
a DVD.

Select the appropriate screen type according to your TV
monitor; conventional size screen (Normal 4:3) or wide-screen
(Wide 16:9).

When the SET UP group “DVD Settings” is selected,
press

to select “1 TV Type” and then press

SELECT.

Press 

or 

to select the preferred type (1 or 2)

and then press SELECT.

Select this type when a conventional
TV monitor is connected. 
* When this type is selected, the

setting of the next item “2 Display
Mode” also becomes important.

Select this type when a wide-screen
TV monitor is connected.
* A video source of wide-screen type

is played in full size. (The TV must
also be set to the full size display
mode.)
