The items in this group controls the ways of displaying
information on the monitor screen and the front panel display.

Select whether or not the monitor screen shows the operation
guide information or other messages.

When the SET UP group “Display Settings” is
selected, press 

or 

to select “1 Guide Display”,

and then press SELECT.

Press 

or 

to select the preferred mode, and

then press SELECT.

Select this to show the operation guide
information and other messages.

Select this to show the following icons only.

: Means that the current operation is

prohibited by the disc or this unit, so
the operation is invalid.

: Means “Warning”.

Select this to show no operation guide
information and no message on the monitor
screen.
