Before connecting your printer to a computer, use the built-in
self-test function to see that the printer is working properly.

Before running the self test, you need to plug your printer's

power cord into an electrical outlet.

1. Make sure the printer is turned off.

Check the label on the back of the printer to make 

 the

voltage 

 by the printer matches that of your

electrical outlet.

If the power cord is not 

 to the printer, connect it to

the AC inlet on 

 rear 

4. Plug the power cord into a 

 

 

outlet.

You can run the self test with either 

 paper or single

mar, 

 or bottom. The following steps describe how to run

single-sheet paper,
