No picture or picture is jerky

or blocking.

Aerial incorrect type.

Replace aerial on

advice from dealer.

Not enough signal to TV.

Connect aerial to digital

input on TV first.

Check digital services

availability - Postcode test

(see dealer)

Intermittent interference on

digital. This may appear as

certain parts of the screen

‘freezing’ (blocking).

Poor cabling between aerial

and TV point.

Replace cable with

double shielded type.

(CT100/CT125 satellite

cable).

Poor connection in TV point.

Replace wall socket

with shielded type.

Poor connection between

TV point and TV.

Replace flylead with

double shielded type.

Not enough signal to TV.

Connect aerial to digital

input on TV first.

Consult dealer

concerning digital

compatible booster

amplifier.

Interference from nearby

electrical sources.

Tilt aerial up slightly. 

VCR not recording analogue

programmes.

TV is switched off.

Place TV in Standby.

Cannot receive new services,

or can no longer receive some

old ones.

Need to repeat tuning

process.

Use ‘Add New Services’

from the ‘Digital Setup’

menu. (Manual Tune -

Digital section).
