9.3 Static DHCP Screen
Use this screen to assign static IP address to specific computers. To open this screen, click
Network > DHCP Server > Static DHCP.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Specify the IP addresses of a maximum of three DNS servers that the network can
use. The ZyXEL Device provides these IP addresses to DHCP clients. You can
specify these IP addresses the following ways:
From ISP - use the IP address of the corresponding DNS server specified in

Network > WAN > Advanced.
User-Defined - enter a static IP address.
DNS Relay - use the ZyXEL Device’s IP address. In this case, the ZyXEL Device

DNS Relay - use the ZyXEL Device’s IP address. In this case, the ZyXEL Device
finds out the IP address of the DNS server (based on RFC 1877). Then, it forwards
DNS queries from DHCP clients to this server and sends the response back to the
DHCP clients.
