Jumper Settings
The Print Server Card will normally automatically configure the network configura-
tion without the need to access internal jumpers. However, there are certain jumpers
on the board that you may have to access under certain circumstances. If you need to
change the jumpers, follow the steps in this section.

STATIC SENSITIVE DEVICES
The Print Server Card is normally contained within the printer which acts to protect sensi-
tive components from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ESD) during normal opera-
tion. When performing installation procedures, however, take proper static control
precautions to prevent damage to equipment.
Make sure you do not have the printer plugged into a wall outlet. If it is, unplug the
power cord BEFORE you open the unit. Remove the Print Server Card according to
the printer instructions.
