All elements of the WMP file are surrounded by winged brackets { }.  The WED element has no 
influence on the level, it just stores the palette of WED’s texture and 3D display (which has only 256 
colors) and the WED settings when the level was saved. 
 
The important elements are the level properties, the blocks, lights, sounds, entities, and the objects 
that store the group information.
