Vehicle drivers should never attempt to configure, adjust or enter in-
formation into a GPS unit while driving.

This mapping GPS receiver has a Safety Mode to prevent vehicle drivers from op-
erating the unit while the vehicle is in motion. The unit will navigate and play music,
but the touch-screen buttons are temporarily disabled. The screen buttons become
responsive again when the vehicle stops. However, if a passenger is available to
act as navigator, Safety Mode can be turned off.

To disable Safety Mode:
1. Turn the unit on.
2. Close the warning message by pressing X
in the upper right corner of the dialog box.
