 Connect a digital satellite receiver to this unit’s AV2 input terminals 

(  11).

 Turn on the digital satellite receiver.

 Turn on the television and select the appropriate video input to suit 

the connections to this unit.

Notes

You cannot change the audio type in the following cases.
 When a DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW (DVD-Video format), +R, +R DL or +RW disc 

is in the disc tray while DVD drive is selected.

 When the recording mode is XP and “Audio Mode for XP Recording” is set to “LPCM” 

(  69).

 When “Recording Format” is set to “Video format” (The default setting is “Video 

format”   68).

You can view the digital satellite programmes via this unit by following 
method when “Power Save ” is set to “On”, and the satellite receiver is 
not connected to TV.
