announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates of selective Cisco Catalyst
®
6500 10/100 line cards (6348-RJ45, 6348-RJ45V, and
6348-RJ21V), Gigabit Ethernet line cards (6416-GBIC and 6516-GBIC), power supplies (950W-AC, 1000W AC, and 2500W AC), and power entry
module (15A-AC).
The last day to order the selective Cisco
®
Catalyst 6500 line cards, power supplies; and power entry module is January 15, 2006.Customers will
continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for five years after end of sale. Table 1 describes the end-of-life
milestones, definitions, and dates for the selective Cisco Catalyst 6500 line cards; power supplies, and power entry module. Table 2 lists the product
numbers affected by this announcement. The recommended replacements for the Cisco EOS products are listed in Table 3. Table 4 provides
information on minimum and recommended software requirements for the replacement products.
