high technology invented by Mr. Wolfgang Vitt.   We combine German patented technology and American design to give you the finest and 

most efficient UV aquarium unit available.   For your safety we use a special low voltage system that is very efficient and cost effective using 

only 12 volts/ 6 watts of power.  The Vitt Technology used in this unit keeps your aquarium residents healthy and is very cost effective to 

operate.  Proper installation and use of this finely manufactured high quality unit will insure satisfactory service for many years to come 

while keeping your fish and other aquatic residents healthy.   Please carefully follow the supplied instructions and diagrams.  Please read 

all of the supplied printed matter before installing and using this unit.

This new patented high technology Vitt System keeps your aquarium free from excessive algae growth.  It also kills harmful viruses, bacteria 

and other parasites that can make your aquarium inhabitants ill and eliminates putting chemicals into your aquarium on a frequent basis. 

We help you keep your valuable aquatic residents healthy.  The unit is recommended for both salt water and fresh water aquariums.   Water 

only touches the quartz glass tube and plastic parts and so there is no corrosion to be concerned with.  The use of this unit does not harm 

the bacteria that are needed in your system in the gravel or filter to decompose waste matter.  Your ecology system is maintained while you 

eliminate parasites and other organisms floating in the water that prey on your fish and other aquarium residents.

We recommend that you place this unit in line with the water flowing out from a filter system.  If your filter system does not permit this then 

a pump is required to operate this unit.   This unique design allows one to change the bulb when necessary, about once a year, depending on 

the number of hours operated without interrupting or disconnecting the water flow.  This unit comes supplied with a bulb that is rated for an 

average life of 8,000 hours.  See the diagrams of the unit supplied. 

This unit is recommended for aquarium enclosures from 20 gallons up to 150 gallons.  This unit can be used for small ponds up to 600 

gallons.

Note that this unit will kill Ich in the larval stage only since they float in the water. If your fish are infected by Ich on their bodies, consult a 
competent veterinarian for proper treatment. Once the fish are cured, this unit will keep the water free of Ich larvae. It will not harm useful 
bacteria in your gravel or bio filter system such as under gravel filters.

  Lamp emits UV radiation which may cause eye/ skin injury.
  Avoid exposure of eyes and skin to unshielded lamp.

  Switch Off and unplug the adapter before lamp replacement.

  To reduce risk of fire, use only MAX. 6W, G6T5 Ultra Violet tube.

Do not look into the ends of the unit when power supply is on.  Do not open any other parts of this unit or transformer. 

There are no other consumer serviceable parts except for the replacement of the bulb or transformer.

Do not immerse unit in water. This unit is not water proof.

Warranty

Lotus Aqua Sanitec DBA LIIL warrants to the original purchaser of this unit that it is free of defects in material or workmanship for a period 

of one year from the date of purchase, provided that this equipment is installed according to the manufacturers instructions and used 

within the environment it was designed for.
Lotus Aqua Sanitec DBA LIIL will not be liable for any labor costs of removing or replacing component parts or the entire unit.  This shall be 

the responsibility of the original purchaser as will be all shipping charges to and from the service center (Your Texas office location.) 
Damage or failure of this unit or any part covered by the product warranty which results from causes directly or indirectly related to the 

installation, operation, environment, use of willful abuse, including without limitation, improper repackaging and damage incurred during 

shipping, is not covered by the product warranty. 
Unless state law provides otherwise, any implied warranties which accompany the sale of these goods are limited to one year from the  

date of sale. 
Unless state law provides otherwise, manufacturer will only be responsible for repair or replacement of any of its' products or parts thereof 

that are found to be defective and will not bear the cost of any incidental or consequential damages arising out of the occurrence of such 

defect.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
