To connect the RBS to an Ethernet hub/switch use a straight cable (EIA/TIA 568A or EIA/TIA 568B on

both ends).

To connect the RBS directly to an Ethernet host use a cross cable (EIA/TIA 568A on one end and

EIA/TIA 568B on the other end).
