2.  Go to TaHomA’s Event Configurator and check the “Enable Home Occupancy” box in the upper right hand corner. All
motion sensors that have been included into TaHomA will now act as triggers for “TaHomA Home” and “TaHomA Away” 
Scenes.
Advanced Tools Review
On the upper right hand side of the Device Configurator is the “Advanced Tools” button. Click this button to enter the Advanced 
Tools menu. Somfy recommends running the “Rediscover Z-Wave Network” process after all devices have been added to the 
system. The other features available are used for Somfy technical support.
Run this after all devices

Device Tools Review
Click on the Device Tools button below the Device Editor window to access the Device Tools menu. In the Device Tools menu, you will 
find the following options:
Device Setup: Run the Device Setup Wizard. The 
Device Setup Wizard initiates a process which collects 
device data for optimal system performance.
Rediscover Device: Run 
rediscover network on device.
Replace Failed: Runs 
command to replace the 
failed device.
Z-Wave Cancel: Cancels the current 
Z-Wave command running on the 
TaHomA controller
Remove Failed: Runs 
command to remove 
the failed device
Device Configurator Icons
There are 4 buttons in the upper right hand corner of the Device Configurator:
 
Refresh button: Refreshes devices. 
 
Remove Devices button: Initiate device removal.
    
Icon View button: Displays icon view.
    
Detailed View: Displays detailed view with specific device information. Typically used for Somfy technical support.
The Device Configurator is 
where you add or remove 
devices to or from the 
TaHomA system.

Use this command to join TaHomA to another Z-Wave system or 
TaHomA system. Clicking “Learn Network” will enable TaHomA 
to join an existing Z-Wave network as a secondary or inclusion 
controller. Once successfully included, all devices in the existing 
network will show up in TaHomA’s Device Configurator. 
The Controller Status Messages 
window displays system information 
when processes are running.
