Chapter 4: Upgrading Firmware

To fall back to the previous image

1. To revert to the pre-upgrade image, enter the following command from

the Rshell prompt:
config image fallback

When the command completes successfully, the reader automatically
reboots and returns to the login prompt.

2. Log in to the reader. The pre-upgrade image is now running.



Note

: If there is no valid previous image, the response to the config image

fallback command is Status=‘8, Permission-Denied’.
