4.3

Setting up the Calibration

T his p aragrap h describes the p rocedure used to calibrate the p arameters used in
the real-time p rocessing of r adar data.

Press the

button show n in Fig. 4-2 to view the w indow

show n in Fig. 4-7, then p erform the automatic ca libration p rocedure by
movin g the antennas across the surface to be scann ed for a d istance of at
least one meter.

Stop the calibration p hase by p ressing the

button in the

w indow show n in Fig. 4-7. T his p ermits the system to save the filter
p arameters required to view the radar map s in real tim e.
