USING GPS WITH THE SRS SYSTEM

The SRS sy stem can acquire GP S data in NM EA$GGA format. You therefore
have to set the GPS receiver so that the data outp ut through the serial p ort or
Ethernet p ort is in NM EA$GGA format

The serial or ethernet co mmunication between the GPS and the

Panasonic CF-30

notebook comp uter must be set up for GPS as follows:

•

Baud rate: 9800;

•

Byte size: 8;

•

Parity : No;

•

Stop bits: 1.

GPS data acquisition procedure with the SRS_PLUS system:

S tep 1 Connect the GPS receiv er to the Panasonic notebook comp uter using the

serial cable shown in p ictures Fig. C. 1.
