(6) Remove the cable from the control panel assem-

bly.

a) Remove the bracket shown in the illustration. 

(Two screws)

Discard one of the two removed screws.

b) Remove the bracket from the USB cable. 

(Two screws)

Discard the removed bracket and screws.

<When the Local Interface Kit EK-608 is mounted to 
the main body>

Disconnect the connector and remove the local 
interface board unit. (Three screws)

(8) Remove the control panel left cover. (One screw)

(9) Remove the plate spring. (One screw)
