Modem Tools is a PDA application consisting of a single screen with
four tabs. These four tabs are described in the following sub-sections.

To access Modem Tools, tap the Modem Tools icon 

 from the main

screen. By default the Info tab is displayed.

This tab displays the following information about the Dualwave M
attached to the PDA:

This indicates the status of the battery. Low

battery levels can affect the connection.

Serial number of the modem.

Logical Link Identifier. This is the unique

identity of the modem.

Radio channel currently being used by the

modem.

The relative signal strength indicator (RSSI)

measured in dBm.

Indicates whether the modem is in or out of radio

range.

Shows the Version number of the firmware in the

modem.
