4. ANTENNA CONNECTION: The transmitter is equipped with

One directional coupler is located pre-mask filter and one is located post-mask
filter. The pre-filter directional coupler has power monitor ports for reflected power and non-
linear pre-correction. The post directional coupler has monitor ports for forward power and
linear pre-correction. Four 12 foot cables have been provided for connection between the
output directional coupler monitor ports and the DXDPRO-10U modulator. Conditions vary
from site to site so some engineering may be required to ensure that the antenna is
receiving the correct amount of power to comply with FCC licenses and to ensure safety
from lightning, etc.
