7.6 Windows Live Messenger
Live Messenger lets you send and receive instant messages online. With this mobile version of Windows Live Messenger, you enjoy many of the same cool
features that you get from the desktop version. The features are:

Launch the Messenger and Sign In
To open Live Messenger
Do one of the following:

On the Home screen, select Start > Entertainment > Messenger.

On Windows Live of the Home screen, press the Left/Right key until you see Messenger, then press the OK key.
To sign in and out
1. To sign in, select Sign in on the messenger screen.
2. If this is the first time you sign in, a message appears to inform you that your messenger contacts will be added to the contact list on your phone.
Select OK to add them.
It may take several minutes to sign in, depending on your connection speed.

Add Windows Live Contacts
You can add new Windows Live contacts in Live Messenger or in Contacts.
To add a Windows Live contact in Live Messenger
1. Select Menu > Add new contact.
2. Enter the e-mail address of the contact, and then press OK.

To add a Windows Live contact in Contacts
1. On the Home screen, select Start > Contacts.
2. Select New, and then select Windows Live.
3. In the IM box, enter the e-mail address of the contact, which can be a Windows Live ID or any other e-mail address.

Delete a Contact
1. In the messenger, select the contact and select Menu > Contact options > Remove contact.
2. Choose whether to block the contact.

Send Instant Messages
You can send instant messages with emoticons, and even send a voice clip. While chatting, you can send and receive files directly on a message window.
You can also start conversations with several contacts and switch between their message screens, or you can invite participants to join in a conversation.
