time. The time can be set anywhere from one minute to forty-seven 
hours. To set the time with shortcut keys, you can use the following 
commands.
1.  Time setting keys 
Move to 1 hour after: Space-4 
Move to 1 hour before: Space-1 
Move to 10 minutes after: Space-5 
Move to 10 minutes before: Space-2 
Move to 1 minute after: Space-6 
Move to 1 minute before: Space-3 
If you attempt to set the time to 0, the Braille Sense U2 will display the 
message, “Time of appointment.” If you do not want to set an alarm, 
press “Space-1” when “Alarm time” is set to “Time of appointment.” Then, 
“Alarm off” will be displayed, and the alarm for this appointment will be 
turned off. After setting the “Alarm time,” save this appointment by 
pressing “Enter,” or by pressing “tab (“Space-4-5”)” to move to the 
“Confirm” button, and press “Enter.” If you have set the “Alarm time,” it 
will go off at the specified time even if the Braille Sense U2 is turned off. 
If you want to stop the alarm, press “Backspace-Enter.” 
7.4.9 Setting a recurring Schedule 
You can set this option when the schedule you are creating currently 
recurs periodically. If you clear this check box, the schedule will be set to 
occurring once. You can check or uncheck this option by pressing 
“Space.” That is, if you press “Space” when this box is checked, it will be 
unchecked, and if you press “Space” when this box is unchecked, it will 
be checked. If you have unchecked this, just press “Enter”, or press “tab 
(Space-4-5)” repeatedly to move to the “Confirm” button and press 
“Enter”, to save the schedule. If you want to set recurrence schedule, 
you should press “Space” and then press “tab (Space-4-5)” or “Enter” to 
move to the combo box where you can set the recurrence pattern. In this 
combo box, you can select one of “Daily”, “Weekly”, “Monthly” and 
“Yearly.” We will discuss these options in more detail in the next section.
