Section 3. Installation

5. Place a gasket (customer supplied) on 

the Mounting Flange. 

6. Carefully fit the Pipe Cone into the still 

pipe and tighten the Closing onto the 
Mounting Flange (customer supplied 
screws and nuts). 

7. Direct the Closing so that the marking 

hole aligns with the notch or mark on 
the pipe flange.

8. The tank is now sealed and can, as far 

as Rosemount Tank Gauging 
equipment is concerned, be 
pressurized

9. Remove the yellow protection cap. 

Do not remove the rubber cone.
