LATITUDE
 Communicator Patient Manual
English
DSL Internet Service
This section applies only if you are using a landline
telephone jack connection to the LATITUDE system.
If you have digital subscriber line (DSL) Internet
service provided through your telephone line, you may
need to install a DSL filter between the wall phone
jack and the LATITUDE Communicator.
Most DSL filters are small rectangular devices with
standard telephone jack connectors at each end.
These filters are typically provided by DSL service
providers to connect telephones, an answering
machine, or a fax machine to your telephone line.
If you use DSL filters for such devices, you will need
to install a DSL filter to use the Communicator. If you
use a dual-port DSL filter, connect the Communicator
to the port labeled PHONE or where you would
typically connect a telephone. For assistance, contact
your DSL service provider or LATITUDE Patient
Services at 1-866-484-3268.
