a) Setting up the device for the modem connection 
 
1. To start the Phone and Modem Options, choose Start

→Control Panel→Phone 

 

 

 

 

6. Select the Modems tab and click the Add... button. 

 

  

 

 

7.  Choose to select from a list. 

Click Next.
