2. Connect the smart device
Method One : Direct Connection (Fast Connection Mode)
• Make sure the equipment is connected to the electricity
after plugging in the socket.
• Please place the smart plug as close to your Wi-Fi
router as possible for obtaining strong Wi-Fi signal. Wi-Fi
2.4GHz only, NOT 5GHz.
• Keep to press the power button for over 6 seconds, then
you will see the blue and red light flashes alternately
(about 2 times per 2 seconds), that means it is standby
for pairing the ‘tuya smart’ App.
• Open ‘tuya smart’ App, click "+" at the top right corner or
the ‘Add Device’ button to add the smart device. Before
this step, please make sure your smart phone to connect
your Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, at present, our smart devices DON’T
compatible with Wi-Fi 5GHz.
• Select correct smart device for pairing, and input your
Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) account name and password and click
Next.
• Wait for about 10 seconds,and the App shows
‘Successfully added 1 Device(s)’, means it’s completed,
and only the red indicator will keep on. Congratulations!
You have set up the smart device successfully. Now you
can control your smart devices freely.
