Dragged into Wasteland by the mysterious Shadow Blot creature, Mickey enters a world fi lled with forgotten cartoons and 

dangerous creations that were formed due to his earlier mistake in the magical workshop. Playing as Mickey, you must guide 

him from sinister worlds like Dark Beauty Castle to twisted worlds like Mickeyjunk Mountain and fi nally to a confrontation 

with the Shadow Blot itself.

The main worlds in Disney Epic Mickey, such as Gremlin Village and 

Tomorrow City, are primarily fi lled with 3D levels, where you can talk to 

NPCs, complete quests, and rely on Mickey’s Paint and Thinner abilities to 

navigate the many surprises and obstacles.

As you adventure in Wasteland, you’ll slowly discover the main storyline: 

Mickey must track down Oswald for answers so that he can eventually 

escape Wasteland and return home. Along the journey, you will encounter 

many characters, some of whose quests can alter future events and the 

game’s ending, and some whose side quests simply entertain and bolster 

your treasure hoard.

When you jump through a projector screen to reach another world, you fi rst 

arrive in a 2D transition level. These 2D levels are side-scrolling adventures 

(either horizontally or vertically) and rely on Mickey’s jumping and acrobatic 

skills (plus some puzzling out) to scoop up lots of e-tickets and gain each 

level’s fi lm reel on the way to the exit screen into another 3D level.
