Pairing Bluetooth Devices
Paired Devices
The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish trusted connections between your phone
and another Bluetooth device. When devices are paired, a passkey is shared between
devices, allowing for fast, secure connections while bypassing the discovery and authentication
process.
To pair your phone with another Bluetooth device:
1. Press MENU/OK to access the main menu.
2. Select Tools and press MENU/OK.
3. Select Bluetooth and press MENU/OK.
4. Select <Add New> and press MENU/OK.
5. Select Search and press MENU/OK. (Your phone will display a list of discovered in-range
and another Bluetooth device. When devices are paired, a passkey is shared between
devices, allowing for fast, secure connections while bypassing the discovery and authentication
process.
To pair your phone with another Bluetooth device:
1. Press MENU/OK to access the main menu.
2. Select Tools and press MENU/OK.
3. Select Bluetooth and press MENU/OK.

If you are going to be using a Dial-Up Network (DUN) profile to pair with a PC or PDA, you will
need to allow the other device to initiate pairing with your phone.

Sending Data via Bluetooth
You can send data saved on the handset using Bluetooth technology.
Sending an Item
To send an item:

3. Select Bluetooth and press MENU/OK.
4. Press Options(right softkey), highlight Send Item and MENU/OK.
