Setting Melody Tempo
Your phone allows you to change the tempo of melodies that are selected as the ringer at
“Ringer Type”. Default tempo is Normal.

From the Standby mode, press Menu to display the main menu.

Highlight Settings, and press OK.

Highlight Sounds, and press OK.

Highlight Melody Tempo and press OK.

Highlight a melody title and press OK.

You can hear the selected melody on the highlighted tempo by scrolling the list, so
select your desired tempo. It is not applicable when the Ringer Volume is set to
Vibrate and O ff .

Setting Tone Length or Start-up/Power-off Tone
You can determine the length of your key beep (you hear this when you press any key)
or type of the Start-up/Power off tone (sounds when you turn the phone on/off except
when Key Beep volume is off) on this feature.

Start-up Tone and Power-off Tone can be set the volume setting. See page 31 for instructions.
Changing the Backlight Time Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display screen and keypad are backlit
after any key press is made.
To change the backlight setting:
