Setting the Display for the Standby Mode
This feature enables you to select a variety of items to display on the Standby mode.
Follow these steps:
1. 
From the Standby mode, press  Menu to display the main menu.
2. 
Highlight Setting s, and press  OK.
3. 
Highlight Displa y, and press  OK.
4. 
Highlight StandbyDispla y, and press OK.
5. 
Highlight one of the desired items, and press  OK.
l  World Clock  displays the time of the selected country with the local time. You can
scroll the World Clock list by pressing right/left of the Navigation key for changing
country,  Summer  /  Standard  (left  softkey) for changing between summer and
standard time if applicable. "

Tip: 
You can also display the World Clock from Game/Tool menu.
    See “Using the World Clock” on page 76.
l  Time (Large)  displays the local time in a large, simple format.
l  Calendar  displays the Calendar.
l  Text  edits your own message to display with the local time.
l  Count Down  first edits the target (e.g. Birthday), and then enters the target date
(Dec 31, 2020) for Count Down display.
l  Wallpaper  selects the wallpaper to display. You can also add your own message to
the wallpaper for options (see page 60).
l  Off  sets this feature to Off.
6. 
After following each system prompt or confirming the preview display, press  OK  to
save the setting.
Further explanation for setting wallpaper:
1. 
Select Wallpaper  at the previous step 5 above, and press  OK.
2. 
Highlight your desired wallpaper, and press  OK.
3. 
If you want to add the message to the wallpaper, highlight Yes and press  OK.
4. 
Adds your personal message to the wallpaper. After editing the 1st and 2nd line
   messages, you can also select the letter color (Black or White).
5. 
Confirm the preview display, and press  OK to save the wallpaper.
If you want to save the wallpaper without adding the message, select No at step 3 above,
and then press  OK to confirm the preview display.
Tip: 
In no service area, Wallpaper, World, Text, Time (Large), Calendar or Count Down cannot be
shown on the Standby display.
Tip: 
Wallpaper settings affect the battery's talk and Standby times.
