Using Bluetooth 
Turning Bluetooth On and Off 
 
To turn Bluetooth on: 
1. Select 
MENU/OK 
Settings > Bluetooth > Enable/Disable   
2. Select 
Enable to enable Bluetooth. 
 
To turn Bluetooth off: 
1. Select 
MENU/OK 
Settings > Bluetooth > Enable/Disable   
2. Select 
Disable to disable Bluetooth. 
 
Note: Enabling the Bluetooth settings affect the battery’s talk and standby times. Bluetooth 
Status Indicators 
The following icons show your Bluetooth connection status at a glance: 
--- Bluetooth feature is active. It turns to green when connected to a Bluetooth device. 
--- Your handset is discoverable by another Bluetooth device. 
--- Your handset is communicating with a Bluetooth device. 
 
Using the Bluetooth Settings Menu 
The Bluetooth Settings menu allows you to set up many of the characteristics of your phone’s 
Bluetooth service, including: 
• 
Entering or changing the name your phone uses for Bluetooth communication 
• 
Setting your phone’s visibility (or “discoverability”) for other Bluetooth devices 
• 
Displaying your phone’s Bluetooth address 
 
To access the Bluetooth Settings menu: 
1. Select 
MENU/OK 
Settings > Bluetooth 
2.  Use the navigation key to select Enable/DisableVisibilityVoice PriorityMy Device 
Name, or My Device Info
   
Bluetooth Settings: My Bluetooth Name 
The My Device Name section of the Bluetooth Settings menu allows you to select a Bluetooth 
name for your phone. Your phone’s Bluetooth name will appear to other in-range Bluetooth 
devices, depending on your Visibility settings. 
 
To set a Bluetooth name for your phone: 
1. Select 
MENU/OK 
Settings > Bluetooth > My Device Name. 
2.  Press and hold BACK to clear the current name. 
3.  Use your keypad to enter a new name and press MENU/OK to save and exit. 
 
Bluetooth Settings: My Bluetooth Information 
To display your phone’s Bluetooth Information: 
• 
Select MENU/OK > Settings > Bluetooth > My Device Info
