Setting Message Notification 

You can see message notification when you receive Text message or Voicemail while you are in 
PCS applications or Browser mode. 
1.    Press MENU/OK to access the main menu. 
2.  Select Settings and press MENU/OK. 
3.  Select Messaging and press MENU/OK. 
4.  Select Display Pop-up and press MENU/OK. 
5.    Check the box next to Games/Apps, Browser or Voice Calls and press Save (left softkey). 

 

Press  Info  (right  softkey)  during  step  4  on  the previous page to see the Messages 
information. 

 
Editing Preset Messages 

Your phone can store pre-set messages for use with text messaging and Picture Mail. You can 
edit your phone’s default preset messages through the Settings menu. 

To edit your phone’s preset messages: 
1. 

Press MENU/OK to access the main menu. 

2. 

Select Settings and press MENU/OK. 

3. 

Select Messaging and press MENU/OK. 

4. 

Select Preset Msgs and press MENU/OK. 

5. 

Select the message you want to edit and press MENU/OK. 

6. 

Use your keypad to edit the message and press OK (left softkey) or to save your changes. 

(“Preset Msg Saved” will display.) 

 

To reset all messages, press Options  (right softkey), select Reset All Msgs, and press 
during step 5 above. 

 

Setting a Callback Number 

With this feature, you can notify your recipients of your callback number with the text message. 

To set the callback number: 
1. 

Press MENU/OK to access the main menu. 

2. 

Select Settings and press MENU/OK. 

3. 

Select Messaging and press MENU/OK. 

4. 

Select Send Callback# and press MENU/OK. 

5. 

Select an option from the following and press MENU/OK. 

 

None to send no callback number. 

 

My Phone# to send your phone number. 

 

Other to send a specific callback number. To set a number, enter a phone number and 
press MENU/OK.
