Using Your Phone’s Voice Services 

Using Voice-Activated Dialing 

You can use a Voice Dial tag to automatically dial a phone number in your Contacts directory. 
To use a Voice Dial tag to call a phone number: 
1.  Press TALK or SPEAKER briefly. 
2.    Follow the voice prompts and recite the entry’s Voice Dial tag into your phone’s microphone. 
 

Recording Voice Memos 

To record a memo in standby mode: 
1.  Press MENU/OK to access the main menu. 
2. Select 

Tools/Extras and press MENU/OK. 

3. Select 

Voice Services and press MENU/OK. 

4. Select 

Voice Memo and press MENU/OK. 

5. Select 

Record and press MENU/OK. 

6.  Start recording after the beep. 

 

Press and hold SPEAKER to record in speakerphone mode. 

To end the recording of your memo: 

 

Press MENU/OK, BACK or END/. 

To record a conversation during a phone call: 
1.    During a call, press MENU/OK to display the options. 
2.  Select Tools/Extras and press MENU/OK. 
3.  Select Voice Services and press MENU/OK. 
4.  Select Voice Memo and press MENU/OK. 
5.  Select Record and press MENU/OK. 
6.    Start recording after the beep. 
To end the recording of your conversation: 

 

Wait for 18 seconds or press MENU/OK or BACK while recording. 

-or- 

    Press END/ to stop recording and disconnect the call. 

It also stops recording when the other party hangs up the call. 

 

Memo recording is disabled while you are in roaming in analog service areas. 

 

When the recording capacity is full, highlight an old memo, press Erase (left softkey), and 
press Menu/OK to make roam from additional menus. 

Note: Your phone can store up to 12 memos and the total available recording time is 72 seconds 
(maximum of 18 seconds per memo).
