Entering Numbers, Symbols, Preset Suffix and Smileys 

Entering SYMBOLS 
To enter symbols: 
1.    In a text entry field, press Mode (right softkey).

 

2.    Select SYMBOL and press MENU/OK. 
3.    Select the line that includes your desired symbol. 
4.    Press the corresponding key (1 ~ 8) with each symbol. 
        -or- 
      Select your desired symbol by using the navigation key, and press MENU/OK. 
 
Entering NUMBERS 
To enter numbers: 
1.    In a text entry field, press Mode (right softkey). 
2.    Select NUMBER and press MENU/OK. 
3.    Press the corresponding numeric key to enter the number.

 

Shortcut: Press and hold the corresponding number key to enter the number directory in 
alphabet mode or T9 mode. 

 
Entering PRESET SUFFIXES 
To enter preset suffixes: 
1.    In a text entry field, press Mode (right softkey). 
2. Select 

PRESET SUFFIX and press MENU/OK. 

3.  Select your desired word by using the navigation key and press MENU/OK. 
 
Entering SMILEYS 
To enter smile pictures (“emoticons”) 
1.    In a text entry field, press Mode (right softkey). 
2.  Select SMILEYS and press MENU/OK. 
3.    Select the line that includes your desired smiley. 
4.    Press the corresponding key (1~4) with each smiley. 
        -or- 
      Select your desired smiley by using the navigation key and press MENU/OK.
