Changing the Phone’s Menu Style

Your phone allows you to choose how the menu is displayed on the screen.

To select the display’s menu style:

1. Press MENU/OK to access the main menu, and then select Options (right softkey) >
Change View.
2. Select a menu style (Grid View or List View) and press MENU/OK.

Changing the Display for My Buddy

This feature enables you to see a humorous animation on the Main LCD by opening the phone.

To set your standby display:

1. Select

MENU/OK > Settings > Display > Main Screen or Outer Screen.

2. Select

Foreground > My Buddy.

3. Select

On or Off.

Changing the Text Font Size

This setting allows you to adjust the display appearance when entering text (for example, when
writing a message or when adding a Contacts entry) or when viewing a message.

To change the text font size:

1. Select MENU/OK >Settings > Display > Font Size.
2. Select View or Input.

View to select Main Screen (and then, Messaging or Browser) or Outer Screen (and

then Names/Phone#s).

Input to select Phone#s, Messaging, or Others.

3. Select a font size and press MENU/OK.

Changing the Background

You can customize your phone display’s appearance by selecting a color scheme to reflect
your personality.

To change the display’s background:
1. Select

MENU/OK > Settings > Display > Main Screen or Outer Screen.

2. Select

Background.

3. Select your desired color and press MENU/OK.

Changing the Phone’s Main Menu Style

To select the display’s main menu style:
1. Select

MENU/OK > Options (right softkey) > Change View.

2. Select a menu style (Grid View or List View)

and press MENU/OK.

Setting Return to Standby Mode

This feature allows you to select the way to return to standby mode.

To set this feature:

1. Select MENU/OK >Settings > Display > Return to Idle.
2. A message appears. Select OK (left softkey) to continue.
3. Select Automatically or End Key.
