8    Installation Instructions 

 
Each  WDC  has  a  unique  serial  number  or  ‗address‘  which  is  printed  on  the  case 
and  factory  programmed  into  the  non-volatile  memory  of  each  unit.  This  serial 
number is wirelessly transmitted along with the occupancy state by each WDC.  
 
The serial number consists of four numbers from 0-to–255, separated by a dot For 
example:  0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 
 

1)  Record the serial number of the WDC fitted to each desk on a printout of the office 

floorplan.  This  will  allow  the  user  to  relate  the  occupancy  data  to  specific  desks 
within the office. An example office plan is shown below with the WDC address for
