19 Core Data Problem 

 

The engine must be running to detect vehicle data. 

The Core Data Items test verifies that specific engine items are being received from one or 
both of the data links (J1587/J1939). Those items are: 

•  Speed 
•  RPM 
•  Distance LTD 
•  Fuel LTD 

If any of these items are not receiving data when the test is run, the failed status is indicated by 
a red 

X
