BrightStor ARCserve Backup Agent for 
Informix provides comprehensive backup 
for IBM Informix objects, such as log files, 
root databases, dbspaces (critical and 
non-critical) and blobspaces. The agent 
works with BrightStor ARCserve Backup 
and the Informix Server’s backup and 
restore facilities to deliver a powerful, 
easy-to-use backup and restore solution 
for Informix environments.  

Ensures round-the-clock protection of the 
Sybase databases and transaction logs 
while in use. Supports Sybase Adaptive 
Server. 

 Enterprise Module. 

 This module installed on top of the base 
product, allows administrator to leverage 
enterprise capabilities to the product, like 
Vaulting, Media Management, 
Multiplexing up to 32 streams and more. 
This module is required in order to 
leverage the enterprise options available 
for BrightStor ARCserve Backup. 

Enterprise level options to maximize your 
performance and your storage assets. 
The enterprise options are available for 
StorageTek ACSLS, IBM 3494, VSS 
hardware Snap-shot, Advantage Ingres, 
Open VMS, AS/400. Please refer to 
Enterprise Option specific data sheet for
