Remove the 1 Phillips PM 2.5x3 screw securing the keyboard to the bracket (1), disconnect the
keyboard cable (2) (pushing it through the bracket), and then remove the keyboard from the
bracket (3).

Before removing the top cover, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
