Operation
Remove the protection foil from the cable reel and observe Fig. 1 to 5, in order to prepare the
cable:
•  Fig. 1: HDMI cable and pull ring. 2 pull rings are included in the delivery. The HDMI plugs
are marked with TX (transmitter) and RX (receiver). Connect the TX plug with the player (e.g.
Blu-ray player or game consule). Connect the RX plug with the monitor.
•  Fig. 2: Place the pull ring on the cable with a distance of approx. 3 inch from the HDMI plug.
Wind the cable (including the USB plug, if you pull from the RX plug) twice around the pull
ring.
•  Fig. 3: Fix the cable with insulating tape directly below the pull ring.
•  Fig. 4: Wind the insulating tape from below the pull ring up to the end point of the cable and
over the HDMI plug (and USB plug) in order to secure cable and plug.
•  Fig. 5: You now have a secured cable bundle, which is ready to be pulled through the cable
channel.
Kindly observe that during the pulling of the cable it will not bend at an angle of
more than 90 degrees. Otherwise the cable could be damaged.
Avoid to apply a tensile strength higher than 290 N (Newton). Do not pull directly at
the plug. Only pull the cable at the supplied and properly fixed pull ring.

•  The  product  is  maintenance  free.  Disconnect  the  product  from  the  power  supply  and
connected devices before cleaning.
•  If necessary, clean the plugs with a clean and dry cloth.
