COMfortel 1600/2600 - Firmware Version 1.0 - Commissioning Instructions 01 08/12

This section describes how to commission the telephone and the answering machine on the
COMfortel 2600 for the first time in a stepwise procedure. After a successful initial
commissioning, you will be able to make calls. You can customize your telephone and the
answering machine using the PC configuration described at the end of this section.

PBX, switched on (connected to 230 V mains)

For the operation with COMfortel Xtension300 key extension modules: the

COMpact 5010 VoIP, COMpact 5020 VoIP, COMmander Basic.2 and

Insert the plug of the ISDN cable included in the package into the jack
marked with 

 on the bottom of the telephone (see 

Insert the other ISDN cable plug into the ISDN socket connected to the
PBX.

If required, insert the wall-mounted power supply type no. FW7577/EU/40
into a freely-accessible 230 V mains socket.

The telephone starts up. In the meantime, the Auerswald company icon
is shown on the display.
