Option 3: Bus-Powered Operation via PS2

(PC only)

PS2-powered operation requires a PS2 port on your com-

puter and the optional PS2 adapter cable (sold separately).

See "Optional Adapters" for information on how to purchase

the PS2 adapter.

1. Plug the PS connector into a

PS port on your computer.

If the PS2 cable also has a USB

connector, just leave it free. The

PS2 connector has an auxiliary

port for connecting another

PS2 device to your computer.

. Insert the small plug of the

PS adapter cable into the

Drive’s Power Port.

. Plug the primary USB type A

connector into a USB port on

your computer or USB hub

(preferably USB .0). Leave the

secondary USB type A con-

nector free.
