•  First  select  the  FM  or  AM  tuner  by  pushing  the  button  „TUNER/BAND“  (K)  on  the  receiver  several

times.

  The display shows „FM“ or „AM“, to display the respective frequency range to you (FM-tuner = FM 

frequency range, AM-tuner = AM-frequency range).

  To select with the IR remote control, first push the button „TUNER“ (16) and then push the button 

„BAND“ (17) several times.

•  Push the button „MODE/STORE“ (D) on the receiver to switch between 3 operating modes (this is briefly

displayed each):

  „AUTO“: Automatic station search run
  „MANUAL“:  Manual station search
  „PRESET“: Select station memory
•  Depending on the chosen operating mode, you can now use the buttons „TUNING -/+“ (E) to automati-

cally or manually find a station or select a station memory.

  Operating mode „AUTO“: Briefly push one of the buttons „TUNING -/+“ (E) to start the automatic station 

search. If a sufficiently strong station is recognised, search will stop automatically.

  Operating mode „MANUAL“: Briefly push one of the buttons „TUNING -/+“ (E) to change the displayed 

frequency step by step. Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.

  Operating mode „PRESET“: Briefly push one of the buttons „TUNING -/+“ (E) to select one of the station 

memories.  The  respective  number  of  the  station  memory  is  displayed.  The  station  memories  can  be 

programmed by you as described in chapter 13. g).

Both for the FM and AM tuner, there are 15 memory slots each for your favourite stations. They can be 

assigned as follows:
1.  Select the desired frequency area (FM or AM).
2.  Use the button „MODE/STORE“ (D) to switch to the operating mode „AUTO“ or „MANUAL“ and find the 

desired station, see chapter 13. f). 

3.  Briefly push the button „MEMORY“ (21) on the IR remote control.
4.  Now the next station memory is offered to you automatically (number in the left of the display); use the 

buttons „TUNING -/+“ on the receiver or IR remote control to select another if desired.

5.  Briefly push the button „MEMORY“ (21) on the IR remote control again to save the station.
