Operation
a)  Inserting the battery

correct position (observe the plus/+ and minus/- signs).
3. Put the cover back on the battery compartment.
We recommend that you use high-quality alkaline batteries in order to
ensure prolonged and safe use. In principle, the rotary timer can be
operated with rechargeable batteries. However, as rechargeable batteries have a
lower voltage (rechargeable batteries = 1.2 V, non-rechargeable batteries = 1.5 V) and
capacity, the battery life will be shorter compared to non-rechargeable batteries. If
you still wish to use rechargeable batteries in spite of these limitations, be sure to use
special NiMH rechargeable batteries with a low self-discharge.
b)  Securing/placing the timer
•  Using the magnet, secure the timer to a magnetic, metal surface (vertical/horizontal).
•  Pull lightly using your finger to open the stand on the back of the clip. Pull it carefully
until  you  hear  the  stand  click  into  place.  Now  you  can  put  the  timer  on  any  flat
surface.
•  Of course, you can also hold the timer firmly in your hand.
c)  Timing

time by turning the adjustment dial anticlockwise. The minus/- direction is shown
on the adjustment dial. Increase the countdown time by turning the adjustment dial

•  Press the START/STOP button again to pause the countdown.

memory when the timer is counting upwards.

countdown alarm sounds for one minute.
•  During this time, press the START/STOP button (1) to display the previous countdown
time. The display returns to the countdown time set previously.
